Tips Regarding Accommodation for the 2023 Freshmen

Dear students,

Due to a shortage of on-campus student dormitories for the fall semester of 2023, we would like to provide some helpful tips to ensure a smooth registration and enrollment process upon your arrival in China, allowing you to start your studies as soon as possible. Please take note of the following suggestions:

1.Cross-campus Accommodation: After the dormitory reservation process is complete, School of International Education will coordinate available dormitory spaces on the YanTa Campus and provide a solution for cross-campus accommodations. Details of this arrangement will be provided in a separate notification. Based on your personal needs and circumstances, you can choose the most suitable option. Here is some basic information about cross-campus options:

1) YanTa Campus to XingQing Campus:Approximately 7 km distance. Commuting options include shuttle school buses, public buses, and the subway, taking around 45 minutes.

2) YanTa Campus to Innovation Harbor Campus:Approximately 40 km distance. Commuting options include shuttle school buses and the subway, taking around 100 minutes.

2. Off-Campus Housing:If you haven’t secured an on-campus dormitory, it’s advisable to consider renting off-campus housing near your study campus. For safety reasons, we suggest considering shared accommodation with fellow students. Based on the housing rental situation of previous students, here are some references for off-campus housing:

1) Near XingQing Campus:Xuefu Shouzuo, Landisi Cheng, Lejuchang Xiaoqu.

2) Near YanTa Campus:Rongshang Zhongyang Zhuqu, Yangyang Guoji, Nanfang Xingzuo.

3) Near Innovation Harbor Campus:WeiBin Xinjiayuan.

3. Temporary Accommodation:Before or during the registration and enrollment period, you have the option to stay in nearby hotels to facilitate a smooth completion of registration and housing arrangements. Here are some suggested hotels:
